The London Eye

The London Eye which also known as The Millennium Wheel, is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel located on the South Bank of the River Thames, in London.

Nowadays, it has been the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom.

It was opened to the public in the year 2000.

The London Eye was conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects, a London-based architectural firm.

Timings and Tickets Booking:-
The London Eye opening times vary throughout the year, typically the attraction opens at 10.00 am and closes between 6.00 pm and 8.30 pm.

The ticket office is located inside County Hall, which is the building directly next to the London Eye.

How to reach there:-

London Underground:
The Coca-Cola London Eye is located within easy walking distance from several London Underground stations: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster.

Waterloo is the closest tube station to the Coca-Cola London Eye. Waterloo is about five minutes walking distance. Exit the station following signs for the South Bank.

By Rail
The closest rail stations to the Coca-Cola London Eye are Waterloo and Charing Cross.

By Bus
Buses to the Coca-Cola London Eye include the 211, 77 and 381.

Things to be kept in mind:

Items that CANNOT be taken on board the Coca-Cola London Eye:

Large bags/suitcases or rucksacks
Motorcycle helmets
Skateboards and rollerblades
Tripods (unless agreed in advance with the Coca-Cola London Eye press office team)
Baby buggies which are fixed and can not be folded down.
Prohibited items include sharp objects or anything which may be considered a security risk including penknives, scissors, metal nail files, toy or replica guns. If such objects are found or declared they will be checked in and returned to you after your experience providing the item is legal in the UK.
Food and drink that is not provided by the Coca-Cola London Eye.
Restrictions apply to some types of film and photography equipment.
